Consolidation Lesson Plan

The more the Merrier !!!

It is the end of the term . Students are on their toes . Assignments are rigorous ! Yes attainable but very challenging . Especially when it comes to the Educational Technology class where creativity has no limits . Whenever we say that’s it , we abided with the task criteria , we find ourselves adding and adding . It seems if we don’t stop ourselves we are going to have a bloated presentations . We can not be blamed as we are really excited to apply everything we learnt in the class this semester .

Two weeks ago our class instructor “ Dr Amal Farhat “ divided us into groups and assigned us to present different topics . Some topics  sounded familiar to  some of the students as they already covered in previous courses and for the rest they remained as new topics to explore , search about , put into presentation and finally present in the class .  The topics where : 1- Learning  Styles 2- T-Pack 3- Bloom’s Taxonomy 4- Emotional Intelligence 5- Multiple Intelligence .We were asked to define and explain about our assigned topics , provide examples and finally how they can be implemented in our lessons and during class hours .We thought that this is the final project . Then Dr Amal explained that we are going to apply all the above mentioned topics to Consolidation Lesson Plan . Moreover we had to use a specific template . What a challenging task . 

One more skill we learnt and we applied while working on our project , is the online work ! It is true that technology is well used is going to serve humanity . We started the brain storming , we agreed on the topic , template , the stages , steps ….. It took quite some time and we needed to utilize all our knowledge and referring back to all the presentations . We prepared all the steps and identified the styles , the levels ….. It was a great way to organize ourselves as teachers before organizing the students and setting clear objectives . In addition to that we implemented all what we learnt , the ACTIVE inspire, google forms for preparing the assessments , the webinar, the infographic … Setting clear goals is really helpful . At the same time we reminded ourselves that we do have to stimulate the students critical thinking and urge them to utilize all their skills , abilities and capabilities with clear general specific and direct directions . 

 

Learning is becoming more fun and constructive with such teaching methods with clear lesson plans!
