Technology is Speaking Louder Now !

Educational technology is the process of integrating technology into education in a positive manner that promotes a more diverse learning environment and a way for students to learn how to use technology as well as their common assignments. (Wikipedia) .

Not only this , technology and high technology became essential in any field even in our daily life communication and I mean at the personal level . But to me as my husband calls me “technology enemy “ it was very difficult to be adopting these new methods . Till I joined this class (Educational Technology ). When the class instructor , Mrs. Amal Farhat welcomed us to her class and gave a small brief with an emphasis on its importance , I started asking myself whether it’s going to be challenging or an advantage . The first lesson was about the use of “ Advanced Word “ how to prepare a table of content with work citation and how can we edit and delete . I found this very useful as a student master definitely I’m going to need them . Then things started to me more serious . Google Drive and Forms this times . One of the things I liked the most is the padlet. And I encourage my students to take it as a platform to stay connected  How many times I have been asked to use google drive for personal storage and I never bothered even to take look . But once I started learning how to create exams and sheets , I found it very neat way to prepare my school materials . As a grade 10 English teacher , I always need to prepare quizzes , exams , worksheets and student study guides … I simply found the google forms the best form I used so far. And certainly I am going to use them from now on . As for the Blog , the lesson was just right on time . As we were thinking how to create a space for our students to have for them a platform where they can express themselves and post their articles .What I really call a lifer saver is Rubrics .  A rubric is a great tool for teachers because it is a simple way to set up a grading criteria for assignments. Not only is this tool useful for teachers, it is helpful for students as well as no need to create tables and add rows and fill the boxes .Though it took quiet sometime and looked bit difficult ,WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented lesson format in which most or all the information that learners work with comes from the web. These can be created using various programs, including a simple word processing document that includes links to websites.  Thousands of scientific illustrations for your papers, classes and presentations. Presentation platform. Create Presentations Easy. Yet there is no nothing like an Infographics. They are the simplest way to create posters . 

Simply I'm loving this course and I'm always looking forward to learn more .
